The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Technician performs a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks to keep the property in excellent condition. This hands-on role involves working to address work orders promptly, maintain high-quality standards, and contribute to overall homeowner satisfaction. The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to routine and emergency maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in a multi-family residential or condominium setting.
- Proven expertise in exterior and interior painting, including knowledge of different paint types, application techniques, surface preparation, and safety practices.
- Broad knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
